Peace Or Panic

Peace Or Panic? Choice Is Yours!

The phrase “Choice is yours” is quite intimidating, as most humans feel incapable to choose between peace and panic. By default, we all believe that peace and panic are part of life, and they can conquer our minds anytime. This is an entirely wrong conception that we humans developed in ourselves. We always have the option to choose from; it is all about your choice.

Before peace or panic conquer your mind or hits you positively or negatively, you need to dominate your mind to control peace and panic-like situations. If you have acquired complete control over your thoughts, you get the privilege to choose an option.

All these things might not sound clear and concise to everyone reading this post. Still, you can develop your mindset to understand everything. To become familiar with what I am talking about, you need to know the roots of peace and panic.

What Panicks You?

Obviously, all of us want peace, not panic. We all understand the importance of inner peace. So, it becomes apparent that we should focus on knowing more about peace, but that’s not true. We must have to become familiar with the panic and its root causes.

Firstly, you need to find the answer to the question, what panics you? Different people have different panic attack reasons. Is it fear of losing your job or losing someone you love more than yourself? It can be anything, for different individuals have different worries.

The root cause of panic is fear of losing something or someone. So, fear is the most significant cause and an obstacle to achieving peace. Taking an example (relevant to all of us) of the covid-19 pandemic, the whole world panicked, but why? Because fear was inculcated in our minds.

Fear of losing jobs, fear of going out of money, fear of debt, fear of losing immunity, fear of losing your loved ones, fear of destruction of humanity, and the list is endless.

What Brings Peace?

We have reached a point summarizing that fear of losing something is the root cause of panic-like situations. Now the question is, what brings peace? Living a fearless life to the fullest is the only thing that can bring peace to your life.

You might ask, how to become fearless? Here are some mind hacks and best practices to do this. Simply put, train your mind to become fearless, and it will automatically bring peace to your life.

How is it possible?

It is possible by understanding what’s controllable and what’s not! Please make a list of fears that you have and their reason. Now categorize all your worries in two lists, controllable and uncontrollable. Work on controllable and forget about uncontrollable.

The real trick you need is finding out the hybrid things between these two categories. In a nutshell, some fears are controllable to an extent, and after that, they are uncontrollable.

For example, if you are scared that your boss can fire you anytime, this fear is under the hybrid category. Your controllable here is to give your best at work so that your boss can see worth in you. If you still fear losing your job, then it is uncontrollable.

Giving your best is something you can control; if your boss still wants to fire you, it is uncontrollable, so focus on the former because it is controllable and forget about the latter because it is not in your control.

Believe me, after you start working on controllable, you will control the uncontrollable. Suppose you don’t worry about uncontrollable things. In that case, you will get rid of overthinking, and it would be a great help to overcome the fear of losing anything. When you are fearless, you will have more peace of mind.

Focus & Forget!

Keeping it short and simple, get over your fears of losing anything to live a life full of peace.

Make it a rule of thumb for you:

Focus on controllable and forget the uncontrollable.

Consistent practice of this psychological trick will give you the power to control your mind. You will have the option to choose any of the two, peace or panic.

  1. Everything composed made a lot of sense. However, think on this, what if you added a little information? I ain’t saying your information isn’t good, but suppose you added something to possibly grab people’s attention? I mean BLOG_TITLE is kinda boring. You could glance at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they create news titles to get people to click. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about what you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little bit more interesting.|

  2. Thank you for another informative site. Where else could I am getting that type of information written in such a perfect way? I’ve a challenge that I am just now operating on, and I’ve been on the look out for such info.|
