From achoo to aargh! Germs are everywhere!
Wanna have a peep into my life? 👀
Lazily and boringly, breaking the chain of my dreams and inertia, I get up around 6 😴!!
The first thing I do is check my mobile 😏 – I really don’t know why – who on Earth is going to message or call me at night?!?!? 👾
Still a sleepyhead, I move passively, making my way to the washroom. 👾
Gradually realizing it’s an office day, I brush my teeth 💧 👾 and my mother serves me hot tea 🫖
Now, begins the real mess! I run and run 🏃 here and there – in my room, then into my almirah, out of room straight into the bathroom, then finding my shoe and packing my bag and hogging something from the kitchen’s rack. 👾👾👾
Jumping into the car – rather from one car to another – then walking and tossing and falling and running finally making to the office – I take a deep sigh 🙆
While in the office, we are at a number of places – on the desk, in the toilet, in the cafeteria, or meeting rooms 👾👾👾👾
By following the same ‘reverse’ route back home 👾👾👾👾, a little tired and sleepy, we somehow do the same things 👾👾👾👾 as in the morning, but in more ‘relaxed’ forms. 🙌
Whilst all seems ok and homogenous with any other ‘working’ individual; you might be wondering what are “👾👾👾👾” these creatures doing around?
Well, not just dancing creatures, they are the germs that never leave us alone 😕
Some may get up at 6, some at 7; some may travel by bus, some by car; some may use a mouse and keyboard, some pen and paper, and so on and so forth. Irrespective, what may sound like our day’s journey is also a germ’s journey. Before moving forward, something worth highlighting here is an incredible book written by Thom Rooke M.D., illustrating the sniffles and snuffles of a germ’s journey.
Health and Hygiene
Health and hygiene OR Internal and external – germs in the stomach OR germs on the surface – if they can attack us in all forms – we must be prepared in all conditions!
How do I look internally?
Kudos to our immune system, which does an amazing job keeping us healthy and alive! It acts as the body’s security guard, preventing any harmful germ from entering in. However, when enemies are in millions, some wicked ones 👿 might find their way inside. In that case, our immune system works on damage control and attempts to kill those germs without letting them harm us.
It does so much for us; it’s our basic duty to keep it healthy. Get a good amount of sleep, eat healthily, exercise daily, live a happy life 😀.
What shapes me externally?
The people you live with – the people you commute with – the people you eat with – the people you work with. 👨👩
The things you use 🪙 – the things you use frequently 📱
Door knobs, mobile phones, desks, washrooms, vehicles, utensils, fridge handles, cupboards are all germ hubs waiting for you to touch and go!
Hence, besides building a strong immunity, we need to be vigilant about her external hygiene. Therefore, keeping ourselves, our hands, our bodies, and our surroundings clean are imperative.
Regular washing of hands with soap and water is the key. Sanitizing and disinfecting with a safe and eco-friendly solution would be icing on the cake, which in the current scenario has become extremely crucial for the preservation of the cake! Let’s promote the ideation behind disinfection on this IIPW.
Let the germs keep waiting forever and ever!
