We’re All in the Same Boat

Of all the worse circumstances COVID-19 has put us in, it has done one good thing: bringing us all together as one big UNITED front against the virus. The intensity with which the crisis impacted each of us is different, but we are all in this together. Our ability to empathize with each other during this challenging time and after that will give us the capacity and strength to conquer the problem and let it not break us.

Having said that, how do we initiate and continue our drive while struggling with our daily battles. We all strive to reinstate normalcy in our lives. Our simple, persistent, and small steps can bring back hope and help with our apprehensions. With the motive of introducing one such measure, we had launched our #disinfectionwaligaadi in Tricity. Our #SterlocIndia visualizes a Safe and Sanitized India in the days to come.

Through reading, sharing, and listening to others’ experiences, we’ve realized that our everyday routine plays a significant role in shaping our lives. It is imperative, no matter how difficult, to create routines in difficult times like these. Here are a few tips that might help:

  • Get up, brush your teeth, take a bath or wash your face, get dressed – these are daily things we do, but they never get monotonous and do energize us for the rest of the day.
  • Physical and mental exercise – do spare a few minutes daily for yoga, meditation, and physical exercises that suit your body.
  • Follow a healthy diet plan.
  • Introduce a new activity as per your taste – it could be starting a new TV series, singing or listening to music, reading magazines or books, painting a wall, etc.
  • Be easy on yourself – there is a lot to take in, and it is ok to feel upset, irritated, or even angry about the situation. Don’t be pissed off on yourself, and try to share with your friends, family as much as you can. If not comfortable sharing, take a paper and pen down your thoughts (the same way I am doing right now ☺).
  • Last but not least, make Sterloc a part of your routine.

#StayHealthy, #StaySafe, #StayHappy, as that is all we look forward to at the end of the day!
