5 Must-Follow Healthy Office Habits To Overcome Health Issues

What is good health?

★Zero figure? – Nah! Nada!

★Long hair? – OMG! Who can even think so!!

★Perfect skin? – Eh! To some extent may be…

Good health is being able to live healthily, being able to keep up with your daily routine happily, and maintaining healthy habits & a good immune system. Good health is also something conveniently ignored & taken for granted until it hits us really hard. Hard enough that bouncing back could be enormously exhausting! Trust me, have witnessed it very nearly and dearly.

For an office goer, where their maximum time is spent in the office it is essential to carry some of the healthy habits to the workplace. Let’s quickly run through some of those today.

Walk & Talk

Getting up and walking some distance every 30-45 minutes is required, especially if you have a sedentary job. While some may find walking as a separate task challenging (which is in fact not), talking over the phone is something we typically do. So walk when you talk ☺. Use a restroom that is probably a little far from your seat, use stairs, avoid lifts wherever feasible, etc., etc. You’ll surely find a way if you’d want to!

No Free Lunches

☺The heading might not actually fit with the content, however, I used it for the sake of using! It’s about eating a healthy meal, not skipping breakfasts or lunches, keeping a check on what you eat and drink, and avoiding consumption of junk as a practice (sometimes it’s okay ☺). Healthier eating habits like adding lots of green veggies to your plate, finding creative substitutes for unhealthy foods, and replacing carbonated drinks and caffeine with healthy drinks can do wonders! In addition, ensure NOT to starve – starving is in no way healthy. Carry with you some snacks to munch while at your desk.

Hit & Fit

Exercising while in office? Seems odd? Well, it’s not – you can stay fit if you hit the right nail, i.e., do the right office exercises, it is crucial part of a balanced lifestyle. Neck rolling, stretching, circling of arms, etc., can benefit your body internally and externally. Besides being physically active, it is extremely crucial to ensure you are sitting in the right posture. Sit upright, don’t slouch, and maintain an appropriate distance from the computer screen.

Water Water Everywhere, Why Don’t You Drink?

Water is purely an organic and simple solution that helps avert many of our health problems. It aids in the digestion process, lubricates the joints, supports the spinal cord, normalizes the body temperature, gets rid of body wastes through urination, and regulates the immune system. Not drinking adequate water can result in poor concentration, headaches, and dizziness. So, why create problems when we have a perfect solution at our disposal? Stay hydrated, stay blessed ☺.

Rub & Scrub

Keep your workspace clean ☺. A clean and organized work environment is good for your mental and emotional health. It enhances your thinking power, performance, and productivity. If you are mostly unorganized (even I am :-|), try keeping things organized, desk clear, and surroundings clean for a day or two. Same thing applies to home office cleaning.  You might feel the difference and the motivation to continue the practice! Additionally, keep a hand sanitizer at your desk, sanitize your hands frequently, and also high-touch points like drawer knob, table top, etc.

Continue staying healthy and working superbly!

  1. Greetings from Florida! I’m bored at work so I decided to check out your website on my iphone during lunch
break. I really like the info you provide here and can’t
wait to take a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how fast your blog loaded on my mobile ..
I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, awesome blog!

  2. I think that everything published was actually very reasonable.
But, what about this? suppose you were to write a awesome headline?

I am not suggesting your information isn’t good., but what if you added a post title to
maybe get people’s attention? I mean 5 Must-Follow Healthy Office Habits
To Overcome Health Issues is kinda plain. You should look at Yahoo’s front page and
see how they create post titles to grab people to open the links.

You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get readers excited about everything’ve got to
say. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit
    more interesting.
