That\u2019s the feeling I got when I first touched a little puppy lying cold on the side of a road. Though not very confident near animals, I did that when pestered by a friend, and I may not have agreed then, but I felt good. And also extremely overwhelmed when the doggy tried to thank us for our gesture by jumping on us. Just a small act from our end, and it was so touched!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That is the love the dogs, cats, horses, cows, birds, and all animals can give us. Their expressions convey the warmth; no words can do! We all may not love animals or be comfortable around them \u2013 and that\u2019s ok. However, what is not ok is to maltreat them. Throwing stones at them, or driving carelessly in a way that might hurt them, or just shooing them off rudely when they mean no harm \u2013 is nothing but uncivilized conduct.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a very noble thought in mind and to protect animals from such inhuman acts from fellow humans, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ifureverfriends\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Furever Friends Foundation<\/a> started as an animal rescue organization circa ten years back. Since then, the organization has rescued and homed thousands of animals, including orphaned or abandoned pets and ill-treated or assaulted animals. They also carry out the required awareness programs, sterilizations and vaccination drives, adoption and fostering arrangement for these animals. Based in Chandigarh, it actively helps NGOs PAN India.
