Hi Guys, hope you are all doing good! There\u2019s a very thin line between a few things, or it would be better to say \u2013 a thin yet highly crucial line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Self-respect Vs Ego<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Being helpful Vs. Being intrusive<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Love for work Vs. W<\/em>orkaholic <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    Being straightforward Vs. Being rude<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                            Self Love Vs. Self Pity, and many more\u2026.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s talk about the last bit today, i.e., Self Love Vs. Self Pity. While it is imperative to love oneself, self-pity is a feeling that takes us down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accepting oneself as we are, acknowledging our fears and working on them, taking pride in our choices, living our life on our terms while causing no harm to others, setting and respecting our boundaries, taking a break, space, and time for ourselves, are some character traits of loving oneself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feeling bad for oneself, comparing one\u2019s life with others and focusing on what\u2019s missing, cursing one\u2019s fate, and repeatedly asking the question \u201cWHY ME?\u201d, and probably a few others are mannerisms that define self-pity. These attributes bring us down as a person and enforce upon us a negative personality. Whenever an unpleasant or unexpected change is imbued in our lives, let\u2019s try changing our approach from \u201cWhy me?\u201d to \u201cWhy not me?\u201d It is one of the few situations where a \u2018Not\u2019 introduces a positive feeling rather than a negative one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I won\u2019t say following this approach would solve our problems, but it definitely would clear our mind to focus on \u201chow to solve the problem<\/a>?\u201d; rather than compromising our energy, time, and inner peace thinking \u201cwhy this had to happen with me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trust me, guys, all of us are fighting our own battles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
