I am 34 years old and have already seen more than 12400 days of my life. Oops! I just revealed my age ?. Anyhow, it\u2019s just a number. I started feeling 60+ the day I turned 30 :D. Getting back to the point. Of these 12000 days, I hardly remember 100 days, I guess, or even less. So what\u2019s the point in making \u2018every day count\u2019 when your memory is not sharp enough to remember even half of it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t remember how I must have spent each day of my life. But I do recall these days when I revisit a place of my past, when I sit with my friends or family, when I witness a situation similar to something of my past, or maybe when I am watching a TV show or movie. Here are some instances:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Whenever I visit my school or college, the rooms, playground, laboratories, cafeteria, benches, corridors, bring back a hell <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azquotes.com\/quotes\/topics\/golden-moments.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lot of memories<\/a>. I visualize my friends and me playing \u2018Uma Joshi ye ye ye,\u2019 or me standing embarrassed (or not so embarrassed if we are talking about college) with my hands up outside my classroom, or me secretly hiding my tiffin from my classmates when I got my favorite lunch, or me damn scared before an exam and wishing for an earthquake to collapse the world for that day.<\/li><li>When my parents see a baby and go back to my childhood days. How I used to run naked around the house, or how I wailed with not a single tear in my eyes, or how once I pushed a tissue paper inside my nose as a fun activity that turned into a scary nose surgery. They also talk about the moments they were proud of me (maybe not that frequently ;)).<\/li><li>When I meet my past teammates \u2013 we talk and talk, and every stupid naughtiness comes to the foreground. The way we stole each other\u2019s ID cards, wallets, or even shoes. The lunch and dinner parties and whatnot!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is just 1% of the examples that came to my mind while writing (saving the rest for next). There are even instances I am ashamed of and may be too ashamed to share here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So my days would be like \u2013 regular days, happy days, sad days, angry days, bore days, bad days, and why days (why did you come in my life). All these days are ok, and I value them; I only have a problem with my \u2018regret\u2019 days. The days I just wasted feeling worthless and cribbing incessantly over the things that happened to me, and doing only the most essential everyday activities. Nevertheless, these days also came as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sterloc.com\/blog\/3-things-to-learn-from-lord-rama-during-covid-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lesson teaching me<\/a> few things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>What\u2019s done is done! You are quite daring if you think you can change it, but you cannot. Accept, make amends if required, move on.<\/li><li>Why only things happen to us (which we may rejoice or cry about), why cannot we make things happen for us, at least once in a while?<\/li><li>Why not allow ourselves a little change or new activity daily? (we\u2019ll share this in our upcoming blogs)&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s all make a promise to ourselves today that we\u2019ll live every day while doing our everyday activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s make change happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avani Raj Arora<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I breathe everyday, but I must live every day!
